Nutritious Smoothies | Clean and All Fruit Ingredients
The best thing about having vitamix… is that you can make smoothies from home and the meal clean up is minimal.
The other day I was craving a smoothie, and I mentioned to my husband that I wanted a Jamba Juice.
“Why..” he asked. We can make something just as good, if not better here….
And that’s just what we did!
The hardest thing about eating in all the time (I almost always prefer this to going out) is the constant dishes that follow. I just get so tired of cleaning up 3-4 times a day… so going out seems like the thing to do, and it is at times.
But I like to eat in… because I trust my food more than when someone makes it for me. Not that it isn’t delicious, but I like to know what exactly I am consuming.
So smoothies and juicing for me is the best of both worlds… because I get to eat in and the clean up is minimal.
Summer is coming to an end… and we are beating the last few days of heat with our vitamix over here. We’ve come up with a few smoothie combinations that I’d like to share with you!
One of these recipes is our favorite all-fruit-smoothie recipe… and the others are dairy free and made with clean ingredients. (See recipes below)
I hope you enjoy these nutritious smoothies as much as we do! They’re fresh and delicious.
