Easy Ham Glaze^^
Tis’ The Season For…
Tis’ the season for christmas cookies, eggnog, red cups, gingerbread houses, menorahs, potato latkes, and Justin Bieber “Mistletoe” on repeat <— Just me? I hope not!
It turns out that this year at my house… Christmukkah = minimalism. We’ve lived in California for a little over a week now… and we’ve somehow mustered up the strength to put up and decorate a Christmas tree. But beyond that these halls are only decked with brown cardboard boxes… and they don’t seem to be disappearing anytime soon…
My cabinets aren’t even put in yet! 🙁
^^^ Me crying on the inside and feeling like a failure at getting my Christmukkah on. <— My Mormon cousins celebrated Hannukkah, and I don’t even know where my menorah is! <– help me… moving is hard! seriously! Will you wait in line at the DMV for me to get a new license and car registration?? Pleasseee?
The holidays can be hectic (add a cross country move to that), but if there’s an easy/ delicious christmas dinner option … sign me up. Especially this year.
Okay now I feel better. But also because Justin Bieber/ Selena Gomez drama is available all day long on TMZ <— guilty pleasure.
Easy Ham Glaze
This is my absolute favorite ham glaze, and I love it at christmas time because it’s so festive! Cranberries = little christmas tree ornaments, so yes. Please put them all over my food.
Who says cranberries are just for turkey?? Who says!?
Buy a precooked ham from your local market, and cover it with this easy ham glaze recipe just 45 minutes before it’s done heating in your oven. And boom, your ham is:
B. Just the right amount of sweet + tangy.
C. HEALTHY! – made four ingredients making it paleo/ clean eating approved!
D. Makes great for leftovers… hello omelets, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and dinner tomorrow night.
E. Very easy to make… so that we can all get to more quality family time and less stress in the kitchen during this wonderful time of the year.
Happy Holidays Friends!
